Teleia has a life passion for art stemming from over 20 years of extensive travels in the arts communities throughout the United States and Canada.  She began painting in 2000 after a serious health crisis resulted in a change of career.

Twenty-five years of photography experience has become the springboard for expanding her exploration.  Involved since childhood in some area of the arts as a singer, writer or photographer, Teleia began in the medium of watercolor.  It had been a lifelong desire to explore this area of interest.

Subsequent studies in drawing, painting and design have resulted in works that encompass watercolor, acrylics, charcoal and graphite, as well as a sculptural medium.  Though her primary artistic interest is in portraiture, she continues to paint landscape, still life and wildlife subject matter.  Against the backdrop of northwest beauty, who could resist?

Teleia also has a mission to encourage and develop emerging artists.  In traveling this country, she knows that our developing arts community is unusual in its openness.  This has created fluidity and innovation.  And that’s exciting!
